By creating an account or using account-based features of WedVeil, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

WedVeil is an independent online information, discovery, communication, publishing, and technology platform serving couples and wedding professionals.
WedVeil also provides eligible wedding professionals with digital professional workspace functionality.

2. Purpose of WedVeil
WedVeil provides an informational and technological environment where adult users may:
discover wedding professionals;
view professional profiles and portfolios;
publish and discover wedding-related content;
communicate with other users;
use informational Jobs functionality;
participate in Feed and Wall features;
access Journal and Real Weddings content;
interact through likes and comments;
use professional vendor workspace functionality;
manage vendor projects and calendars;
collaborate with other vendors;
maintain professional portfolios; and
access additional Platform features based on account type or subscription plan.
WedVeil is not a payment marketplace for wedding services.
WedVeil does not process payments between couples and vendors.
WedVeil does not require access to private contracts, deposits, banking arrangements, or financial relationships between users.
3. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by WedVeil in connection with the Platform.

Platform visitors;
registered couples;
registered wedding professionals;
Free and paid subscription users;
users publishing content;
users participating in Jobs;

4. Age Requirement — 18+ Only
WedVeil is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
Individuals under 18 are not permitted to:
create a WedVeil account;
maintain a Couple account;
maintain a Vendor account;
create a professional profile;
publish content;
post or respond to Jobs;
use Platform messaging;
purchase a WedVeil subscription; or
otherwise use account-based Platform functionality.
WedVeil does not offer a parental-consent registration process for individuals under 18.
Permission from a parent or guardian does not override the minimum age requirement.
By creating an account, the user represents and warrants that the user is at least 18 years old.
WedVeil may require users to confirm that they meet the minimum age requirement.
5. Information About Individuals Under 18
WedVeil does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to maintain accounts and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from individuals under 18 through account-based Platform functionality.
If WedVeil becomes aware that an account is operated by an individual under 18, WedVeil may:
suspend the account;
terminate the account;
restrict access;
remove public content; and
take reasonable steps to delete associated personal information,
subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-preservation, and backup requirements.

Some vendor information is intended to be public because vendor profiles are designed for professional discovery.
9. Public Information
Information that users intentionally publish publicly may be accessible to Platform users, visitors, and potentially search engines.

vendor name;

cover image;
category;
general service location;
professional biography;
portfolio;
public website;
public social media links;
Feed posts;
Wall content;
Real Weddings;
Journal contributions;
public comments;
visible engagement; and
other information intentionally published publicly.
Users should not publish information they wish to keep private.
Public information may be copied or shared by third parties outside WedVeil, and WedVeil cannot fully control information after third parties have independently obtained it.
10. Private Vendor Workspace Information
WedVeil may provide vendors with private workspace functionality.
Private workspace information may include:
projects;
calendar entries;
internal notes;
planning information;
project dates;
project status;
invited collaborators; and
other information designated as private.
Private workspace information is not intended to be displayed publicly.
WedVeil does not intentionally use private calendar information to represent a vendor's public availability unless the vendor expressly chooses to use a feature designed to share such information.
Authorized WedVeil personnel may access private information where reasonably necessary for:
technical support;
troubleshooting;
security;
abuse investigation;
legal compliance; or
Platform administration.
11. Messages
WedVeil may provide private and group messaging.
We process messages to:

comply with applicable law.
Private messages are not treated as public content.
Authorized access may occur where reasonably necessary to investigate reported misconduct, respond to a security incident, comply with lawful legal process, protect users, or provide requested technical support.
Users should not use WedVeil messaging to transmit unnecessary highly sensitive information.
12. Project and Calendar Information
Vendors may use WedVeil to maintain project and calendar information for organizational purposes.
This information is generally processed to provide the requested professional workspace functionality.
WedVeil does not guarantee permanent preservation of project or calendar information.
Vendors should maintain independent records of critical appointments and business information.
13. User Content
User Content may include:
photographs;
videos;
text;
captions;
comments;
Jobs;
profile information;
Real Weddings;
Journal submissions;
portfolio content;
messages;
workspace information; and
other information submitted through WedVeil.
Public User Content may be displayed publicly.
Private User Content is processed according to the functionality through which it was submitted.
14. Information Collected Automatically
When users access WedVeil, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:
IP address;
browser type;
device type;
operating system;
approximate location derived from IP address;
referring pages;
pages viewed;
access time;
session information;
authentication events;
application events;

device identifiers where permitted; and

Precise real-time GPS location is not required for WedVeil's ordinary core functionality.

online banking credentials;
private Couple-Vendor contracts;
vendor customer deposits;

tax returns;

WedVeil seeks to minimize the collection of sensitive personal information.
