It is also the reactions happening in the background, the quiet exchanges between family members, the laughter between portraits, the unexpected problems a great vendor team handles without the couple ever knowing, and the fleeting interactions that last only a few seconds.

1. From your perspective as a wedding content creator, what are the moments of a wedding day that couples usually never get to see?

Off the top of my head, the moments couples often don’t get to see are their guests and their reactions — whether that’s during the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception.

In my opinion, these moments can be just as important. Your wedding day is one of the only days when all of your favorite people are together in the same room. Being able to replay bits and pieces of your guests’ reactions can be incredibly special after the wedding day.

2. During the preparation hours, what small or intimate moments often happen behind the scenes that later become meaningful memories?

Some of the best moments before walking down the aisle happen with the couple’s wedding party and family.

First looks with family members — fathers, brothers, grandparents — and, of course, a first look with your future spouse can become some of the most meaningful memories of the entire day.

3. Guests often react very emotionally to the ceremony or speeches. What are some reactions or interactions you’ve captured that couples didn’t notice at the time?

There are so many laughs, people wiping away a tear or two, and reactions to stories that bring back memories.

Those little responses are happening all around the couple, even when they may not notice them in the moment.

4. Weddings can be beautiful but also chaotic. What are some behind-the-scenes moments that show the real energy of the day?

If you don’t have a strong vendor team — both in professionalism and personality — things can become chaotic.

Most of the time, brides don’t even know when a little blip happens. When you have a great planner or coordinator and a strong media team, they know exactly how to pivot seamlessly and make the necessary changes to keep the day flowing.

Some behind-the-scenes moments might include hair mishaps, issues with zipping or buttoning the dress, or simply falling behind the timeline.

5. Have you ever captured a moment that was completely unexpected but ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the wedding?

One moment that stands out happened when a bride and groom were heading out to line up for their ceremony.

I happened to capture them sharing a private moment together. It was completely natural, incredibly intimate, and so special.

6. Content creators are often very close to everything happening throughout the day. How does this position allow you to capture moments others might miss?

We are seriously a fly on the wall.

Our goal is to blend seamlessly with the media team and the guests. Our minds are constantly working — anticipating moments, capturing reactions, and documenting everything in between.

That position allows us to notice and preserve moments that could otherwise disappear in seconds.

7. What is one type of moment you always try to capture because you know couples will love seeing it later?

We really love capturing the moments between the poses during couple portraits.

Some of the best moments happen right after the photographer takes the photo or while the media team is adjusting camera settings.

It’s the short glances, the quick kiss, and those little conversations in between — with completely genuine reactions — that we love the most.

8. Have you ever filmed a funny or emotional moment that perfectly reflects the personality of a couple or their guests?

Without a doubt — we capture these moments at every wedding.

Our mission is to encourage our couples to be fully present with each other and with their guests. When you’re present and relaxed, your personality naturally comes through.

And that’s when some of the best moments happen.

9. In your experience, what kind of behind-the-scenes footage do couples react to the most when they finally see it?

A lot of our couples have amazing reactions to the final edits.

We also get so much love when couples rewatch their first looks, their first kiss, and little moments from their portraits.

These are often moments that happened incredibly quickly on the wedding day, but being able to see and experience them again afterward makes them especially meaningful.

The beauty of what happens in between

The ceremony, first dance, and speeches may define the timeline, but they are only part of the story.

Sometimes the memories that become most meaningful are the ones no one planned — a parent’s reaction from across the room, a quiet exchange before the ceremony, a laugh between portraits, or a few private seconds shared when no one else seems to be watching.

These are the moments between the moments.

And sometimes, they are the ones couples treasure most.
